Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every subscription starts with a 14-day free trial. You can try Nabu in full and cancel anytime during the trial.
Do I need to install any special software on my computer?
No, installation is not required. After subscribing, you can immediately log in via your browser and start recording. The transcripts are accessible through your account from any device, including your mobile device.
Do I need special hardware for audio recording?
While you can use your laptop's built-in microphone, we recommend using an external one. Contact us – we will gladly provide a tested microphone as part of our service.
Can I trust the AI 100% to make no mistakes?
In short: No, manual verification is necessary. However, our system saves a significant amount of time as the documentation is usually correct. If there is an issue, it can be quickly corrected in edit mode by the user.
Do I need my patients' consent if I record conversations with Nabu?
Yes, you need to include our service in the data consent form and have it signed by patients in the waiting room as usual. We provide you with a legally vetted and GDPR-compliant template free of charge, specifically created for this purpose by our legal team. We also recommend that you transparently inform your patients that you are using a digital tool to assist with documentation. This builds trust and enables you to focus entirely on the consultation.
Does the app have access to my patients' medical data?
No, Nabu operates independently from other systems and only stores the information from the patient consultation.
Can I automatically integrate the documentation into my practice management system?
Due to the wide range of practice software available, we cannot provide a general answer. Integration via DAME could be possible. We also offer special templates for Innomed, which take into account abbreviations for diagnosis and anamnesis, for example.
